KENYAFor centuries, people from many parts of Africa have been migrating to Kenya 's broad, pleasant, and sunny half-a-million square kilometres of snow-capped mountain, fertile plain, bushy savannah, desert, and palm-fringed coral coast. Each has brought some distinctive feature of it's own culture and language to add to Kenya's colourful mosaic of mankind. This melting pot of peoples, a vibrant community of thirty million plus citizens, enchants even the most widely travelled tourists.
Spread all across this vast land astride the equator, many have had to adopt their cultures and customs to the terrain in which they live- sometimes green and fertile, often harsh and arid. Indeed, ironically though, the smallest group, the Cushite, occupy the largest area. The nomads of the north, who roam almost half the country, make up only 3% of the population.
For most, two thirds of the population, the common tongue is the Bantu language. The remainder speak Nilotic languages. These language structures bind a country of more than forth different ethic group protecting it from the venom of tribal clashes as in many of its neighbouring states. Kenya is hence essentially a place of the wild and its people, both making up, Beautiful Kenya.
Under the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Kenya's claim as the undisputed safari country is easily noticed by anyone that comes into this pretty and adventurous country. Its wild plains filled with pleasurably beautiful predators and their prey creates a perfect environment for the hunter and hunted. The resulting chase and elution are unimaginable to the eye and mind that has never seen it.
The mountains, forests, lakes and Ocean are just but a few of Mother Nature's gift to this paradise on earth known to you and I as KENYA
